Chekumuki Science Sambaralu 2025 Scheduled Dates

Jana Vignana Vedika, a Member of AIPSN & NCSTC Network, DST, Govt. of India, and recipient of the Govt. of India’s highest award for its efforts in Science and Technology Communication, is organizing Chekumuki Science Sambaralu for the last 24 years for School students in all the districts with the support of the Department of School Education, Govt. AP/ Telangana: They are conducting this activity at 4 different levels. i.e., School, Mandal/Town, District, and finally at the State level. Around 4.5lakh students from more than 5000 schools participated in this science fest last year, 2024, at the school level. Collector Karthikeya Mishra unveiled the poster of Chekumuki Science Sambaralu 2025 at the collectorate along with the organizer.

JVV conduct this programme in four(4) levels –

1. School Level,
2. Mandal Level,
3. District Level and
4. State Level.

The Chekumuki Science Festival is very unique and has won the appreciation of all science teachers and academicians. The JVV would request that all the schools kindly hold the School level Chekumuki Science Test for students of 8th, 9th, and 10th classes only on 18-10-2025 at your school in large numbers by collecting a nominal entry fee of Rs 5. per student.

General Instructions for Schools:

• The Test is held separately and in parallel for Telugu and English medium students
• As per your requirement, JJVV will hand over the question papers along with the key in sealed covers to you one day before the Test
• All 50 questions of the Test are of a multiple-choice type. 80 percent of the questions are from the syllabus of 8th, 9th, and 10th class science subjects, and 20 percent are from general studies
• Kindly evaluate the test papers with the key supplied and depute the best student in each class to form a 3-Members School Team in each medium(Telugu and English) to participate in the next level, i.e., Mandal Level, to be held at Mandal Headquarters on 17-11-2025.
• The best team in each medium from both Government and Private Schools, separately at the Mandal Level, will be selected to participate in the District Level Science Test to be held on 23-11-2025 at the respective District Headquarters.

Best Team, to participate in the State Level Test, in each medium from both Govt. and Private Schools, separately will be deputed to participate in the State Level Science Festival to be held on 8th, 9th, and 10th December 2025 @ District Venue (Kothagudem) in TS and The State-level Chekumuki science talent test would be held at Rajahmundry from January 3 and 5 in AP. Fabulous Prizes and Participation Certificates will be given away to the teams

Chekumuki Science Sambaralu School 2025 schedule is as follows:

The school level is on October 18th.
Mandal /Town level is on November 1st.
The district level is on the 23rd of November 2025.
The state level is on the 12th, 13th, and 14th of December 2025.
