AP Eamcet Exam Pattern

AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted for admission into various professional courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The exam pattern for AP EAMCET is as follows:

1. Mode of Exam: AP EAMCET is a computer-based test (CBT), i.e., it will be conducted in online mode.
2. Duration of Exam: The exam is for a duration of 3 hours.
3. Language of Exam: The Exam will be Conducted in English and Telugu. Candidates can choose their preferred language during the application process.
4. Type of Questions: The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
5. Sections in the Exam: The exam is divided into three sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Candidates who want to pursue engineering courses will have to attempt the Mathematics section, while candidates who want to pursue agriculture or medical courses will have to attempt the Biology section.
6. Number of Questions: There will be a total of 160 questions in the exam. Physics and Chemistry sections will have 80 questions, while the Mathematics/Biology section will have 80 questions.
7. Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
8. Syllabus: The syllabus for the AP EAMCET exam is based on the syllabus of the intermediate course in Andhra Pradesh.
