ఏప్రిల్ 8న నిర్వహించనున్న AMS పైలెట్ సర్వే కు సంబంధించి సంబంధిత అధికారులందరూ ఈ క్రింది విషయములను గమనించగలరు.

How to Download Academic Monitoring System App

1) AMS ఆప్ ను ఈ క్రింది లింక్ నుండి డౌన్ లోడ్ చేసి కొగలరు - https://goo.gl/D7BuBf
2) యూజర్ నేమ్: ASM_SACM పాస్ వర్డ్: demo
3) ఈ యాప్ లో మొదటిసారి లాగిన్ అయినప్పుడు డేటా లోడ్ అగుటకురెండు నిమిషములు సమయము పడుతుంది. దయచేసి ఓపికతో వేచి ఉండండి.
4) AMS ఆప్ జియో ట్యాగింగ్ చేయబడినది కనుక కేవలం పాఠశాల ఆవరణలో మాత్రమే పనిచేస్తుంది.
5) ఈ AMS ఆప్ ఆఫ్ లైన్ లో కూడా పనిచేస్తుంది. సమాచారాన్ని నింపిన తర్వాత ఎప్పుడు ఇంటర్నెట్ కనక్షన్ లభిస్తుందో అప్పుడు సమాచారము మొత్తము ఆటోమేటిక్ గా అప్ లోడ్ అవుతుంది. మొబైల్ ఫోన్ ఇంటర్నెట్ కనెక్షన్ స్విచ్ ఆఫ్ చేసి ఈ ఫీచర్ ని ఒకసారి పరిశీలించు కోండి.

Academic Monitoring Dates ఏప్రిల్-8 : 

11) అధికారులు పాఠశాలలను 8 వ తేదీఉదయం*9 గంటలనుండి మధ్యాహ్నం 1 గంట లోపు సందర్శించ వలసినదిగావలసినదిగా సూచించడమైనది.
12) జిల్లా మానిటరింగ్ అధికారులు సందర్శించవలసిన పాఠశాలల వివరములను,జిల్లా విద్యాశాఖ అధికారి గారు ఎంపిక చేసి క్రింది మెయిల్ కు పంపించ వలయును.
13) ఆరోజు మధ్యాహ్నం మూడు గంటల లోపు ఫీడ్ బ్యాక్ ఫారములు అప్ లోడ్ చేయవలయును
14) ఫీడ్ బ్యాక్ ఫారములు క్రింది లింకు నందు లభించును.



General Guidelines for Visits

1. When going to a school, kindly remember that the purpose of the visit is to help the school become better. Be supportive and highlight positives in the school, before giving any negative feedback to HM or Teacher.
2. Kindly do not disturb the regular school activities in any way. Let the HM and Teachers teach as per the time-table.
3. The order of the questions are such that you can start your visit by first going to the Headmaster’s room, and then moving to the library, the lab and then classrooms. For ease of filling the proforma, it is recommended that this order be followed.
4. Kindly read the guidelines for filling the proforma thoroughly before answering the questions.
5. When engaging in classroom observation, kindly go into the class before the start of the period.
6. Sit in a corner of the classroom when engaging in classroom observation. Quietly observe the class, and do not talk for any reason when inside the class.
7. After classroom observation is over, kindly wait till the teacher leaves the class before providing feedback to the teacher.
8. When engaging with anybody in the school, be it HM, teacher or students, be polite and respectful.

Is Time Table as per Academic Calendar?
  1. The timetable prepared by the school is to be verified to see if it is in accordance to the Upper Primary and High School Calendar/Primary Academic Calendar.
  2. Pick a timetable at random. Mark Yes if it is as per the academic calendar

Has the HM prepared a Tentative Calendar for those situations when teacher(s) is absent? a. Ask the HM what s/he does when a teacher is on leave.
  1. If the HM states that he asks another teacher to take the class, ask him if s/he has an alternative timetable prepared for this purpose.
  2. If the HM shows a calendar, mark Yes. In all other cases, mark No.

Does HM have list of students requiring extra support?
a. Ask the Headmaster to show the list of all students who have been identified as slow-learners. If a written list is shown, mark Yes.

Does HM have list of subject areas in which students require extra support? a. Check if the list of students identified as slow-learners also has the name of the subjects in which they require support.

Has the HM prepared a detailed plan for helping students requiring extra support?
  1. Ask the HM what plans have been made for helping slow-learners in the school. Check for any written documents regarding the same.
  2. If a written document exists with a plan for helping slow learners, mark Yes.

Does the school maintain a School Management Committee register? a. Ask the HM to show the SMC register. If data like dates of SMC meetings and names of participants is written, mark Yes.

Select the Number of School Management Committee (SMC) Meetings conducted this academic year b. Check the SMC Register. Choose the number of meetings conducted this year.

Record the attendance of parents in SMC. a. Fill it in the XX/YY format eg: 25/50

Does the SMC see a majority of all parents (50%+) participating as per the SMC Register? a. Look at the attendance in SMC Meetings. Check whether half of the parents attend the meeting and if true, mark Yes.

Are the decision and the minutes of SMC meetings written down in the SMC register/book? a. Check the SMC register. Does the register have the minutes of the meeting? Mark Yes, if present.

Does a School Development Plan exist that is jointly prepared by SMC and Headmaster/Teachers?
  1. Ask the Headmaster for the School Development Plan.
  2. If the school development plan is present, call the SMC Chairperson. Ask him the number of SMC meetings that have happened in the academic year to cross check.
  3. Also ask him about how the School Development Plan was prepared, and whether parents were involved.

Are SMC contact details displayed prominently in the school?
  1. Check whether a wall is painted with SMC details OR
  2. Whether the details of SMC members are put up in a public space

Is there a library period in the school?
  1. Check the timetable for presence of library period AND
  2. Ask a few students what they do during library period. If they say they go visit the library, mark Yes.

Are the books in the library well organized according to Class, Language and Topic? a. Check whether there are books are placed in separate racks/sections based on class, language, and topic

Does the library issue books regularly to students?
  1. Check the library register to see whether books have been issued.
  2. Use your judgment to check whether the issue is regular. Mark Yes if you believe books have been issued

Is the library period used by students to share book reviews, in either written or oral form? a. Observe a library period. If students read books and engage in some reading related activity, mark Yes.

Does the school have a functional science lab?
  1. Refer to the lab equipment inventory
  2. Use your judgment to check whether the lab is functional

Do students of all classes use the Lab/Lab Equipments?
  1. Ask teachers which students use lab/lab equipments. If they say all classes use lab, ask 1-2 students randomly what they did in the lab.
  2. If you get a satisfactory response, mark Yes.

Do students use the lab regularly to do the experiments prescribed in the textbook?
  1. Talk to a few students about whether they go to lab regularly
  2. Also ask the students what they do in the laboratories. Do they perform experiments? Mark Yes, if they do.

Are students maintaining a lab record written in their own words?
  1. Ask 5 students to show their lab records.
  2. Check whether the lab records have been dictated by teacher/copied from a guide.
  3. If students have written in their own words, mark Yes

Have within chapter textbook exercises been written by students? a. Check whether the majority of students in each of the classes have written the within chapter textbook exercises.

Are end of chapter exercises being done by students?
a. Check whether the majority of students in each of the classes have written the answers to the end of the chapter exercises (in a separate notebook, where necessary).

Are students writing all textbook exercises in their own words?
  1. Ask teacher if s/he dictates the answers to be written in the textbook exercises.
  2. Check whether the students have written the answers in their own words, or whether it has been dictated by teacher.
  3. If teacher has dictated answers, or if answers are written by students in the same way, then mark No.

Are FA notebooks being written by students in their own words? a. Ask teacher if s/he dictates the answers to be written in the notebook exercises.

Are teachers preparing their own FA Question Papers?
  1. Ask teachers how they prepared FA Question Papers. If they say they have got it from some source, then mark No.
  2. If teachers say they prepared their own question papers, ask for a FA Question paper.
  3. Ask teachers why they added a certain question, and the reason behind why they added it.
  4. Mark Yes if satisfied with the answer provided by the teacher.

Do teachers provide written feedback to students in the notebooks?
  1. heck the notebooks of students from both the classes.
  2. Have the teachers corrected the textbooks, and given remarks for improvement in the textbook? If done, mark Yes

*Do Teachers go take extra classes according to Tentative Calendar? Check a class according to the tentative timetable to verify
  1. If a tentative timetable exists, AND if a teacher is On Leave go to a classroom of the teacher who is on leave.
  2. Check if the substitute teacher (as per the tentative timetable) is teaching. Mark ‘Yes’ if that is the case.

*Is the plan for helping students being implemented? Check with a few students who have been identified as requiring extra support.
  1. Go to 3 students identified as slow learners slow learners identified by the Headmaster.
  2. Ask the students the details provided in the plan. If students confirm that they are getting extra support as mentioned in the plan, mark Yes.

Are all teachers who are supposed to be in school actually present? a. If internet is available, check the teacher attendance in the app.
